CREATING YOUR AUTHOR PROFILE

WELCOME to your special place of belonging.    

Our heart's desire is for your profile to extend the reach of your books in a manner that will honour your message.

 

When you start, please follow these steps in order:

STEP 1 - Click on login/Register button and choose to Create a new Author account

STEP 2 - Create your Author Profile, you only need to do this once, you can edit it at any time to add or take away content.

STEP 3 - Create Book Profile when you've created your profile.   When you in the viewing mode of your profile, click on ADD Book to create your Book Profile.

 
AUTHOR PROFILE CONTAINS:
1.  YOUR NAME

This is the name you publish your books under.   It's important to enter you first name and surname because it's the key to our search functions.   You will notice that there is an option to add your company name or this is where you could add c/- Publisher's Name or your Agent's Name

2.  YOUR EMAIL

You can either enter your contact email address or that of your Publisher/Agent.  There is an option to hide the email details from the public.

3.  YOUR ADDRESS

You can enter your contact address or that of your Publisher/Agent (this is not compulsory).  There is an option to hide your address details from the public.

4.  YOUR PHONE

You can enter your contact phone number or that of your Publisher/Agent and/or Distributor.    There is an option to hide your phone numbers from the public.  When entering your number think globally and add your country code.   You can enter multiple numbers with a description behind as shown below:

5.   YOUR WEBSITE

We want to encourage people to go to your website to discover more about you so enter your website title (e.g. mywebsite.com) and the full address in the URL.

6.  YOUR TWITTER SCREEN NAME

Enter your twitter screen name because this will appear as a twitter feed on your profile

7.  YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE NAME

Enter your Facebook page name because this will appear as a Facebook feed on your profile

Author (Pre-Published) Profile

CREATING YOUR PRE-PUBLISHED AUTHOR PROFILE

Our heart's desire for your profile is to get all the help you need so your book can be published.

 

When you start, please follow these steps in order:

STEP 1 - Click on login/Register button and choose to Create a new Author account

STEP 2 - Create your Author Profile, you only need to do this once, you can edit it at any time to add or take away content.

STEP 3 - Click that you are a Pre-Published Author.

STEP 4 - Create Book Profile when you've created your profile.   When you in the viewing mode of your profile, click on ADD Book to create your Book Profi​le

  • What is the timeframe you have set to have it published?
  • List the type of services you need such as an editor, book cover designer, publisher etc.
11.   YOUR GENRE/S

Book Profile

CREATING YOUR BOOK PROFILE

WELCOME to your special place of belonging.   

Our heart's desire is to profile your books in a way that honours their message, as well as opening up a market place for your readers to have as many links as possible to places where your book/s are sold.
 

If your an Author and you've created your profile then the next step is creating Book Profiles and you can add all your books for FREE.

 

BOOK PROFILE CONTAINS:
1.  BOOK TITLE

Enter the title of your book

2.  BOOK SERIES

If your book is part of a series then enter the name of the series here.

3.  AUTHOR(S)

This is where the Author's name is added after your Author profile has been created.    You click on Add an Existing Node (which means Add an Existing Author Profile).  As you start to enter the name it should appear in a list all you need to do is select iit and then click Add Node.  

If the Book has multiple Authors they can be added to this list of Authors for this book.   However if an Author is does not have An Author Profile ask them to create one so it can be added to the book Authors.

4.  ISBN

This is where you allocate the various types of ISBN and their numbers.  

When you click Add Another Item a drop down list will appear, however if you need another ISBN type added, contact Our Support Team to have it added. 

5.   BOOK DESCRIPTION

Write to your heart's content what you want to say about your book.

6.  BOOK GENRE

This is where you enter your book genre and you can add as many as you like.

It is important that one of the following genres is included in your list for your book:

  • 1.  Fiction
  • 2.  Non-Fiction

If the Genre is not there, then click on the drop down list, select Add a New Item and type your new Genre but be sure you save it to the list.

7.  BOOK IMAGE

Upload the book cover image of your book.  

  • Files must be less then 150mb
  • File format type of png, gif, jpg or jpeg.  
8.   YOUTUBE VIDEOS

This is where you add YouTube video/s that promote your book and you can add as many videos as you like.

9.   BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE AT:

This is where your readers can click to purchase your books.  We have created this website as a way of profiling you and selling your books so that it could be FREE for you, however the way we are covering costs is through our affiliate links so we will be diligently monitoring them to ensure that the codes are correct.

  • You can add as many "stores" you want by clicking Add Another Item
  • You can add as many "formats" and links for each store by clicking Add Another Item.
  • Available at - is a dropdown list of various stores that sell your book, however if you need another store to be added, contact Our Support Team to have it added.  
  • Format - is a dropdown list to select the format you linking to, if you need to add another format, contact Our Support Team to have it added.
  • Link - is where you copy and paste the store link to your book page.      

 

Member Profile

CREATING YOUR WRITER'S GROUP PROFILE

 

WELCOME to your special place of belonging.  

Our heart's desire is to connect you with Authors so they can become involved with your organisation and use the services you provide

 

When you start, please follow these steps in order:

STEP 1 - Click on Log in/Register button and choose Create a new Leader account

STEP 2 - Create your Leader Profile, you only need to do this once, you can edit it at any time to add or take away content.

 

LEADER PROFILE CONTAINS:
1.  LEADERS NAME

This is the name that will be displayed to the public and the one that will serve as key in our search functions. 

2.  COMPANY NAME

This is the name of the company/writers group name.

3.  CONTACT NAME

This is the name of the person to contact with queries from the site.

4.  CONTACT EMAIL

You can enter your contact email address.  There is an option to hide the email details from the public.

5.  YOUR ADDRESS

You can enter your contact address (this is not compulsory).   The address can be a Post Office Box or if you own a retail outlet and if you would like people to physically walk in an buy item(s) then its important you fill it in.  There is an option to hide your address details from the public.

6.  YOUR PHONE

You can enter your contact phone number.    There is an option to hide your phone numbers from the public.  When entering your number think globally and add your country code.   You can enter multiple numbers with a description behind as shown below:

  • +61 0 000 0000 (for Authors)
  • 1800 000 0000 (Toll free - general number)
7.   YOUR WEBSITE

We want to encourage people to go to your website to discover more about you so enter your website title (e.g. mywebsite.com) and the full address in the URL.

8.  YOUR TWITTER SCREEN NAME

Enter your twitter screen name because this will appear as a twitter feed on your profile

9.  YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE NAME

Enter your Facebook page name because this will appear as a Facebook feed on your profile

10.   YOUTUBE VIDEOS

Add YouTube video/s that promote your writers group (add as many videos as you like)

11.   YOUR PROFILE PICTURE OR LOGO
  • Files must be less then 150mb
  • File format type of png, gif, jpg or jpeg. 
12.   DESCRIPTION

Tell us about your organisation and how it helps Authors.  Below is a list of questions to help guide you in filling out your profile description:

  • What does your organisation do?
  • What are the benefits?
  • What help can you give a pre-published Author?
  • How can Authors get involved?
13.   LEADER'S CATEGORY

This is where you choose "Leagues & Fellowship" Leader.

14.   LEADER'S ROLE

This is your Leader's Role which identifies you, for example you might be a "Writers Group".  You can only choose one, however if its not listed you can add it.

15.   LEADER'S SERVICE

These are the services your provide e.g. Book Review, and you can add as many as you like and if its not there then add it to the list

16.   SAMPLE IMAGES

Show us what you do, you can add as many sample images as you like and if its not there then add it to the list

17.   YOUR ITINERARY

If you have an event you're participating in or would like to list contact times etc., then this is where you enter the details  You can enter the date, time, details and location of your event and you can add as many as you like.

18.   HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT ALLR

This is for our records only, we just want to know how you heard about us.

1.  LEADERS NAME

Tell us about your venue, what type of events you excel at and what makes your venue that "special" place to hold functions.  Below is a list of questions to help guide you in filling out your profile description:

  • What is so special about your venue?
  • Have you held other Author Events?
  • What types of function rooms do you have?
  • What is the capacity of your function rooms?
  • What parking facilities are available?
  • Are you near public transport?
  • Do you provide catering services and menu options?
  • Are you able to offer accommodation for multiday events?
  • What discount would you offer Authors for their events?

Show us your venue and what makes it special, you can add as many sample images as you like and if its not there then add it to the list
